陳孟亨 中英文介紹
專長:木笛演奏、古樂團指導與演奏、木笛樂團指揮、音樂通識課程
陳孟亨,美國波士頓大學木笛演奏博士(DMA of Historical Performance),美國朗基音樂院木笛演奏碩士(Master of Music),台中教育大學管弦樂指揮碩士(Master of Conducting)。現為國立清華大學音樂系專任副教授,並擔任東方巴洛克樂團、新竹直笛合奏團和高雄直笛合奏團藝術總監。
在美國求學期間榮獲優異學生表現獎 (Student Presentation Honor Award)。畢業後因其出色的表現獲得波士頓大學古樂系傑出校友之殊榮。取得博士學位回台灣後,致力於木笛的系統化教學與專業化,並積極將台灣的木笛推向國際;自2005年起多次率團參加全日本木笛大賽榮獲「金賞獎」。2013年帶團前往韓國參加春川木笛大賽榮獲「指導者大賞」,為比賽的最高榮譽。2022年指導學生獲得以色利特拉維夫國際木笛大賽多項首獎,為當次比賽獲獎牌數最多的國家。2023年指導學生參加維也納青少年國際音樂節(SCL)獲得特殊樂器樂團組第一名。同年與學生前往荷蘭參加阿姆斯特丹木笛大賽(ORDA)再度獲得合奏第一名及其他獨奏和重奏的優異成績,再度成為囊獲最多獎項之國家。2025年參加布拉格捷克國際音樂營榮獲金質獎以及比賽技術難度最高曲目特別獎。2026年帶領新竹直笛合奏團再度於阿姆斯特丹國際木笛大賽中拿下2026大型合奏組第一名。
多次前往比利時、維也納、荷蘭、德國、以色列、大陸、韓國、日本、香港等地演出與講習,並與多位世界知名演奏家合作演出,例如: Maurice Steger、Drora Bruck、 Aldo Abreu、Erik Bosgraaf、Matthias Maute、Flanders Recorder Quartet等,並於2017年榮獲「德國國際巴洛克音樂節」室內樂比賽第三名。另,受邀擔任國內外木笛大賽的評審,例如韓國春川木笛大賽 (Chuncheon Recorder Competition)、以色列特拉維夫國際木笛大賽 (Tel Aviv Recorder Festival)、德國諾德霍恩木笛大賽(Nordhorn Recorder Festival) 、日本大阪木笛節比賽等。2021年以【非洲狂想】專輯入圍第32屆傳統藝術金曲獎最佳藝術音樂專輯獎。自2011年起,與鋼琴家謝薇博士合組「諧頻木笛鋼琴二重奏」(Pure Resonance Recorder and piano duet),陸續於臺灣、中國大陸、以及歐洲各地巡迴演出,例如頗負盛名的德國Bad Kissingen 木笛節,並於2024、2025和2026年獲選上海之春國際音樂節的展演節目。除了在音樂上的優異表現外,在教學上亦不遺餘力;於2018年獲得清華大學校傑出教學獎以及藝術學院傑出優良教師,2019年獲得107學年度清華大學音樂系傑出導師,2022年和2024年再度獲得藝術學院傑出教學獎。2025年獲得台中教育大學傑出校友的殊榮。

Meng-Heng Chen is a recorder performer, conductor, educator, and international festival director. She serves as Associate Professor of Music at National Tsing Hua University and is the Artistic Director of the Orient Baroque Ensemble, the Hsinchu Recorder Orchestra, and the Kaohsiung Recorder Orchestra. She is also the Founder and Festival Director of the Taiwan International Recorder Festival.
Chen holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Historical Performance (Recorder) from Boston University and a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting. Her artistic career bridges historical performance, conducting, music education, and international cultural exchange, making her one of the most active recorder specialists in the Asia-Pacific region.
Recognized internationally for her artistry and educational leadership, Chen has performed, presented masterclasses, and served as an adjudicator at festivals, competitions, and academic institutions throughout Europe and Asia. Her professional engagements have taken her to Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and beyond, where she has become a respected ambassador for recorder performance and music education.
As an educator, Chen has mentored numerous award-winning soloists and ensembles whose achievements include top prizes at prestigious international events such as the All-Japan Recorder Competition, Chuncheon Recorder Competition, Tel Aviv International Recorder Festival, Vienna SCL Festival, Amsterdam ORDA, and the Czech International Music Camp in Prague. Her students continue to perform and teach throughout Asia and internationally, reflecting her lasting influence on the next generation of musicians.
Chen has collaborated with many of the world’s leading recorder artists, including Maurice Steger, Erik Bosgraaf, Aldo Abreu, Matthias Maute, Drora Bruck, and the Flanders Recorder Quartet. Through these collaborations, she has built an extensive international network while promoting artistic exchange across cultures.
Her recorder–piano duo, Pure Resonance, has toured internationally and was featured at the 2024 and 2025 Shanghai Spring International Music Festival. Her recording African Rhapsody received a nomination for the 32nd Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music.
Throughout her career, Chen has received numerous distinctions recognizing both artistic excellence and educational leadership, including Boston University’s Student Presentation Honor Award, designation as a Distinguished Alumnus of Boston University’s Historical Performance Department, multiple Outstanding Teaching Awards, and recognition as a Distinguished Alumnus in 2025.
Today, Chen continues to perform, teach, adjudicate, conduct masterclasses, and develop international collaborations, dedicating her career to advancing recorder performance, nurturing young musicians, and fostering global cultural exchange through music.
